Overview of Liability Asset Management Corporation (LAMC)

The Government of Ethiopia (GOE) is creating a Liability Asset Management Corporation (LAMC) to manage the consolidation and servicing of a portion of the country’s state-owned enterprises’ (SOE) debt, alongside a range of state-owned assets.  In an effort to address macro-economic instability in the economy, the GOE is committed to meaningfully address both the SOE debt and its root causes.
